The Boil Water order for Airport Road City Water residents has been lifted.
There is currently a Boil Water Order for City of Metropolis customers on Airport Road north of Howard Street. The Boil Water Order will be lifted after bacteriological testing is complete.
City Hall will be closed Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 10:45am to 12:45pm for training.

The Boil Water order that was issued Wednesday for the south end of Fairmount Addition, Kennedy Drive, Pheasant Cove and 15th Street has been LIFTED.
Due to a main break, there is currently an outage and a Boil Water Order issued this afternoon for City Water customers on the south end of Fairmount Addition, Kennedy Drive, Pheasant Cove and 15th Street. Crews are working to restore service. The Order will remain in effect until testing confirms the safety of the drinking water.
City Hall will be closed Wednesday, October 16th 10:45am to 12:30pm for City-wide training.
